Basic supplies for printing lino blocks onto fabric with washing resistant ink:
3 lino 20x25cm
1 set of gouges (a handle + 5 interchangeable blades)
1 sponge roller ofr inking the lino
1 500g can of super opaque silkscreen white ink (for cotton)

Directions:
Carve the block of linoleum according to your design (in reverse! The direction of reading will be restored in the printing)

Iron the fabric on which you go to print and put it well flat on a smooth surface
On a plate (of glass for example) put down some ink and roll uniformly with the sponge roller
Ink the lino so as to deposit a sufficient layer but without excess: the ink must be deposited on the relief only and not in the engraved areas. Attention on the pressure exercised on the roller!
Position the inked plate against the fabric and apply pressure to the back
Remove the plate. Wait at least 3 minutes then fix under heat (150°C, for example with an iron back to front or in front by having taking care of protecting the printed matter with a piece of parchment paper (for the oven cooking)
Remove the plate(patch). Wait at least 3 minutes then fix under heat (150°C, for example with an iron back to front or in the place by having taking care of protecting the printed matter

Attention! do not let dry the ink on the roller nor on the plate. Clean the ink with soapy warm water.

NB: the washing resistance will be optimal after 5 days of open air drying.
